Fanatec Consumer Guarantee
The manufacturer (Endor AG) grants consumers in Japan a one-year warranty on all Fanatec products, unless otherwise indicated on the individual product page.
Services under this guarantee can only be used by consumers as mentioned above in accordance with the following conditions.
For some products, a different warranty period and a different consumer group may apply if this is explicitly specified in the respective product description.
The guarantee is bound to the person of the first buyer (hereinafter: warrantee) and is not transferable.
The manufacturer's warranty covers the territory of the country in which the product was first purchased.
The period for calculating the warranty period begins on the date of the invoice by delivery.
If material or manufacturing defects occur during this period, the manufacturer, as guarantor under the warranty, will provide one of the following services at his discretion:
- free repair of the goods or
- free exchange of the product against an equivalent article (if necessary also a successor model, if the original product is no longer available).

Warranty claims are excluded in the event of damage to the goods in case of
- abusive or improper treatment,
- environmental influences (humidity, heat, overvoltage, dust, etc.),
- non-observance of possible safety precautions,
- non-observance of the operating instructions,
- use of force (e.g. impact, shock, fall),
- unauthorized repair efforts,
- normal wear and tear
Warranty claims are also excluded if the purchased product has been modified in any way after delivery. This exclusion for changes also applies if a warranty claim would generally exist according to the above conditions.
The warranty service can only be claimed if the guarantor is enabled to check the warranty case which shows that the goods, including the RMA number (assigned by the Fanatec Support Department) have to be returned. Care must be taken to avoid damage during transport by appropriate packaging.
If the product is not already registered in the Fanatec customer account of the policyholder, a copy of the original invoice (to be uploaded as unchanged PDF file in the support area "Register product") must be provided for the warranty claim. If the product type concerned has a serial number ("SN"), this must be indicated as well.
If the warranty claim is justified, the warranty will be settled carriage free for the warrantee within the territory of the country in which the product was first purchased. In this case, the guarantor will reimburse any national shipping costs that may have been disbursed.
If, on the other hand, international dispatch (shipment and return shipment) is required for the handling of the guarantee, any additional costs incurred shall be borne by the policyholder irrespective of any recognition of a guarantee obligation.
Note: Your legal rights against us arising from the sales contract concluded with us are in no way limited by this guarantee promise. In particular, any existing statutory warranty rights vis-à-vis us remain unaffected by this guarantee promise. If the purchased item is defective, you can therefore always assert claims against us within the scope of the statutory warranty, irrespective of whether a warranty case exists, or the warranty is claimed.
