Follow these steps to potentially solve the problem:
- Open the Steam application
- Select "View"
- Select "Settings"
- Select "Controller"
- In "General Controller Settings", uncheck the checkbox for "Generic Gamepad Configuration Support".
If the issue persists, reinstall the Steam Client.
We are often asked if gloves should be used with our steering wheels to keep them in good condition, and this unfortunately cannot be easily answered. Generally, gloves can help keep the steering wheel clean and protect it from sweat, however gloves can also increase the wear of the steering wheel rim material (leather, stitching, etc.) to a much higher level than bare hands would do. The additional wear and tear is not covered under warranty. More information regarding our consumer guarantee and warranty policies can be found here.
Testing all types/brands of gloves is simply impossible, and we cannot make any recommendations in this regard.
Steering wheels such as the ClubSport BMW GT2 V2 or the CSL Elite WRC steering wheel are covered with Alcántara. If the upper material is dirty, it can be cleaned by using a microfiber cloth, and lukewarm water. Avoid using any chemical cleaning agents!
Wir werden sehr oft gefragt, ob man bei der Benutzung unserer Lenkräder Handschuhe tragen sollte, um so Abnutzungen oder Verunreinigungen vorzubeugen.
Grundsätzlich können Handschuhe das Lenkrad vor Schweiß und Verunreinigungen schützen, allerdings wird dadurch der Verschleiß vom Obermaterial beschleunigt. Die Abnutzung bzw. der Verschleiß ist von der Garantie selber nicht abgedeckt. Die einzelnen Garantiebestimmungen können unter folgendem Link nachgeschlagen werden:

Die Möglichkeiten solche Auswirkungen zu testen sind sehr begrenzt, weswegen es nicht möglich ist, alle Handschuhe unterschiedlicher Art, von verschiedenen Herstellern, zu testen. Dementsprechend können wir keine konkrete Empfehlung geben für die Verwendung von Handschuhen.
Lenkräder wie zum Beispiel das ClubSport BMW GT2 V2 oder das CSL Elite WRC Lenkrad sind mit Alcantara überzogen. Sollte das Obermaterial verunreinigt sein, so kann dieses durch die Verwendung von einem Mikrofasertuch, welches mit lauwarmem Wasser ohne chemische Zusätze benetzt wurde, gereinigt werden.
