Another update for Gran Turismo 7 1.57 has arrived, bringing a host of new cars, events, and quality-of-life improvements. Here’s a breakdown of the key features and adjustments players can expect in this exciting update.

New cars added

Three new cars have been introduced to Gran Turismo 7, each available through different dealerships in the game:

  1. Aston Martin Vantage '18 - Available for purchase at Brand Central, this sleek British sports car brings power and elegance to the racetrack.
  2. Mazda CX-30 X Smart Edition '21 - A versatile and stylish addition, also available in Brand Central.
  3. Renault Kangoo 1.4 '01 - A practical choice for those looking to diversify their garage. This vehicle can be found in both Brand Central and the Used Cars dealership.

Gran Turismo Sophy update

The innovative racing AI agent, Gran Turismo Sophy, has received an upgrade to GT Sophy 2.1. This new iteration is now available in Custom Races for supported tracks and layouts, continuing to push the boundaries of AI in racing simulations. It's worth noting that this feature is exclusive to the PlayStation®5 version of Gran Turismo 7.

New Extra Menu and events

A new Extra Menu has been added to the Café, namely Extra Menu No.45: 'Collection: Suzuki'. Unlocked at Collector Level 35, this menu focuses on the Suzuki brand and offers players a fresh set of objectives and rewards to complete.

Fans of Gran Turismo 7 can now also enjoy several new events in the World Circuits section, including:

  • Brands Hatch Indy Circuit - Sunday Cup
  • Deep Forest Raceway Reverse - European Clubman Cup 600
  • Tokyo Expressway - Central Counterclockwise - Japanese FF Challenge 450

These additions offer fresh challenges and exciting racing opportunities for players to tackle.

GT auto updates and new Scapes location

Gran Turismo 7 continues to improve the car customization experience with a few notable updates in GT Auto. Engine swaps are now available for several cars, including:

  • BMW M2 Competition '18
  • BMW Z4 3.0i '03
  • Ford GT '06
  • Ford GT '17
  • Subaru BRZ S '15
GT7 BMW M2

These swaps, which are unlocked at Collector Level 50, add a deeper level for car enthusiasts looking to modify their vehicles.

The Scapes mode has received a fresh addition to its roster: Faroe Islands. This stunning location, now featured in the Scapes curation, provides beautiful backdrops for your cars, offering a new set of photography opportunities.

Other improvements and adjustments

In addition to the main features, this update brings several fixes and enhancements across the game. The BMW M3 '97 has been updated with fixes for both its exterior and interior details. Meanwhile, the Mercedes-Benz Unimog Type 411 '62 now includes an improved vehicle height adjustment range.

For User Cars, a new sorting option called "By Number of Cars Owned" has been added to the Car Valuation Service, which becomes accessible after completing Menu Book No. 39. In the GT Auto Wheel Shop, players will now find that the rim diameter, width, and offset settings are retained when selecting the currently installed wheels.

Additionally, the Race Entry screen has been updated to display race times up until midday of the following day, while various text localization issues have been addressed, further improving the game's overall experience.
