Fanatec Clubsport GT Cockpit accessories lineup

Any sim racer knows that the wheelbase, pedals, cockpit, shifter, and a few nice wheels to choose from are just the beginning. The sim rig is a constantly evolving setup, changing in response to experience, investment, and good old personal preference. The sim rig can never truly be finished.

In aid of that truism, alongside the Fanatec Clubsport GT Cockpit, we’ve developed a few accessories to appeal to all different manner of users. From the ultra-competitive realism addicts to the more casual fun enjoyers. These will be available soon, so let's take a look.

A racing Sim is useless without a gaming PC to run it all, which is why it’s unsurprising that most sim racers are PC gaming enthusiasts. So, to help with convenience, cable management, and just to show of your gaming PC, we’ve made a PC tray that bolts directly to the front of the cockpit.

With the loosening of a few bolts, you can widen the PC tray to accommodate large full-tower PC cases, and extending tray also opens a cable management gap allowing you to hide your shame. The PC tray won’t conflict with the single or triple-screen stands, either

Of course, the Clubsport GT Cockpit comes with a standard direct drive mounting plate, but some sim racers may already have a wheelbase that is front-mounted. This ensures compatibility with a wider range of existing wheelbases.

Similarly to the seat and pedal base, you can loosen the front mount with the T-shaped handle bolts and tilt it up and down to create the most comfortable angle.

Anyone who’s been sim racing for a while knows that one of the primary annoyances is the need to lean over to the floor to grab the mouse and keyboard to restart the race or adjust settings.’

If you hate yourself, this can be done with the sim controls, but for the rest of us, the inconvenience of reaching for the keyboard is preferable to the pain of changing DLSS settings with a steering wheel.

Hence the keyboard tray. It can be attached to the side rail of the cockpit on either side, and features a broad surface that can easily house a full-size keyboard and mouse. The lower edge is lipped so you can tilt it for better ergonomics. Additionally, the mount is basically a monitor arm, complete with e a 75x75 and 100x100 VESA mount. So, if you care not for keyboards, you can pop the tray off and put another monitor here.

For those who like to give manual transmission a go, we have also made a mount for a good old-fashioned shifter, or gear stick for the tea drinkers. This takes the form of an additional plate that can be clamped to the either side rail, much like the keyboard tray. The mount also comes with a secondary plate than can attached to either side of the shifter plate, to which a handbrake can be attached.

If a significant part of your sim racing time is spent on genres like rallying or drifting, this accessory is a must have as it complete the manual car experience.

One of the more versatile accessories available alongside the Clubsport GT Cockpit are the upper accessory mounts. These are a pair of arms that are secured to the main rails positioned on either side of the wheelbase.

These feature a standardized slot across the entire length of the mounts, allowing you to mount basically anything via inserting a T-nut and screwing the accessory in question into it. This could be a webcam, additional screen, or something like a Streamdeck.

Despite the GT affix, the Clubsport GT Cockpit is fully capable of formula style racing, and an essential part of an authentic formula racing are inverted pedals, as they work the best with the super-reclined seating position.

The inverted pedal mount provides a perfect angle for inverted pedals, allowing you to secure the pedals you need for a genuine formula experience. The mount has many slots cut into it, spaced as such to allow for maximum compatibility, and the angle of the mount can be adjusted to fine-tune the ergonomics.
