You may own a QR1 CSL DD Ready2Race Bundle, and have used it without any issues in any games that you’ve played. However, over time, you might have experienced some unusual glitches with the steering wheel, or the Fanalab software may suddenly no longer recognize the steering wheel.
What causes disconnection issues?
There are several possible reasons for this, all of which highlight one key aspect: the mechanical USB-C connection between the shaft and the wheelbase, as well as the clamp mechanism.
You should consider a few questions:
- Do you inadvertently pull on the steering wheel when entering or exiting your cockpit?
- Do you find yourself subconsciously pulling on the steering wheel, particularly in challenging corners during an intense F1 race?
If the answer is yes, it is advisable to make an effort to avoid this behavior, as it can not only damage the pins of the steering wheel but also cause the shaft to be pulled away from the wheel base.
