In addition to sim racing-specific products, most gamers, especially PC players, also need a place to mount both their keyboard and mouse. And yes, this is something that can be done very comfortably in the ClubSport GT Cockpit, through an accessory (sold separately), that allows you to easily mount both the mouse and the keyboard.
As the name suggests, the ClubSport GT Keyboard Tray is the necessary product to add your keyboard and mouse to the cockpit, allowing them to be positioned exactly as you wish. This steel and aluminum support uses an articulated mounting arm, offering maximum flexibility to position it wherever each player needs.
But this accessory is not just limited to this functionality. For those who don’t need a keyboard/mouse, or are fine with placing them on the floor, this mounting arm also includes a built-in 100x100mm VESA mount to add an extra screen, such as for telemetry or other in-game data. You can use it for one purpose or the other, but not both at the same time.
Since Fanatec doesn't directly offer keyboard or mouse in its product lineup, the most recommended brand is our friends CORSAIR, which offers multiple options in both markets. However, this doesn't mean that the tray can't accommodate most mice and keyboards on the market, as it was specifically designed for that purpose.
That said, this accessory is only compatible with the ClubSport GT Cockpit.
The Keyboard Tray is specifically designed with enough space to mount both the mouse and keyboard together without any issues.
Its installation, like most accessories for the same cockpit, is very easy. It can be placed anywhere the player prefers. However, the installation also requires the ClubSport GT Shifter Mounting Kit. The bar, available for either side, will hold the keyboard tray.
It’s worth noting that you can perfectly mount a shifter or handbrake alongside the keyboard tray. One will not interfere with the other. However, since the keyboard tray is more flexible, we recommend mounting it further forward of the shifter or handbrake, as the latter will be fixed in place.
