Fanatec ClubSport GT Cockpit height range
In sim racing, comfort and ergonomics are paramount, perhaps more so than any other type of gaming experience. Those on the upper and lower ranges of height are often underrepresented here, so in designing the ClubSport GT Cockpit, adjustability was emphasized to make it work for a super wide range of heights.
Fanatec ClubSport Cockpit minimum and maximum height
- Minimum height: ~1.5m / 4’9”
- Maximum height: ~2m / 6’5”
The reason for the approximation here is that it will depend on your wheel base, seat choice, and which racing style you’re using. Formula style and GT style racing, for example, are done with different seating positions.
Additionally, this height range is created by moving the seat and the pedals, which means it depends on the specific pedals and mounting style, too. This is why it’s hard to give hard and fast numbers, here. It all depends.
Statistically, you almost certainly fit within the height range for the Fanatec ClubSport GT Cockpit. Much like getting a new car however, you’re going to have to make adjustments to get the seating position just right. If you're super short, the DD Shaft Extension might make the difference.
