Podium Advanced Paddle Module:
Using the Podium Advanced Paddle Module with a ClubSport Universal Hub for Xbox One may result in a deadzone on the analogue paddle axes (main magnetic shifters and secondary paddles unaffected).

There are no individual drivers for steering wheels. The driver of the Fanatec wheel base / racing wheel they are connected to will also support them.
Please download and install the latest driver and firmware for your wheel base / racing wheel before you mount this steering wheel!
The latest firmware is integrated into the driver and can be installed via the “update” tab in the driver panel.
If your ClubSport Wheel Base (V1 or V2) is restarting again and again by itself and being unable to complete the boot sequence you might have forgotten to update your Wheel Base Firmware BEFORE you put on the new wheel rim or wheel hub!
Please always download (from product page) and install the latest CSW Base Driver onto your PC. Start the wheel base without your new wheel rim/hub. Open the driver control panel. Install the embedded firmware by navigating to the "update" tab in the browser. All further steps will be explained there.
This is no isssue. The firmware of the ClubSport Wheel Base evolves continously and has to prepared for every possible new product which can be attached. Additionally we are always working to improve the performance of the device.
IMPORTANT:
- Please also keep in mind that the driver also contains relevant firmware updates for other devices (as the CS USB Adapter, CSP V3, etc.). Those devices can be updated in the same way when connected by USB.
- The firmware updates are also important if the hardware is used on consoles! You will have connect the devices to your PC by USB (for less than 5 minutes) to perform the update.
Wenn ihre ClubSport Wheel Base (V1 oder V2) von selbst immer wieder neu startet und sich nicht normal einschaltet lässt, so haben sie vermutlich vergessen die aktuellste Firmware auf der Base zu installieren BEVOR sie ihr neues Wheel bzw. ihren neuen Hub montiert haben.
Bitte laden sie immer den aktuellsten Treiber (von der Produktseite) herunter und installieren sie diesen auf ihrem PC. Starten sie die Wheel Base ohne Lenkrad/Hub und öffnen sie das Treiberfenster über die Verknüpfung auf dem Desktop. Wenn sie nun in den "Update" Tab geben wird Schritt für Schritt erklärt wie das Firmware-Update durchgeführt werden kann.
Dies ist kein Fehler - die Firmware der ClubSport Wheel Base wird laufend weiterentwickelt um alle neue Produkte zu unterstützen, welche angeschlossen werden und um die Performance weiter zu verbessern.
WICHTIG:
- Bitte denken sie daran, dass der Treiber auch alle anderen relevanten Firmware Updates für andere Geräte (wie CS USB Adapter, CSP V3, etc.) enthält. Diese können in gleicher Art und Weise installiert werden, wenn das jeweilige Gerät per USB an den PC angeschlossen ist.
- Die Firmware Updates sind ebenso wichtig, wenn das Gerät an einer Konsole verwendet wird. Für das Update muss dir Hardware allerdings kurz mit dem PC verbunden werden.
Since Microsoft dropped their own support (April 2014) of Windows XP after more than 13 years we are not longer able to support this PC platform. The last wheels/pedals/shifter driver which supports Windows XP is driver 144. Later driver versions use new software technology which is just not possible on Windows XP.
If your hardware or a new firmware requires a newer operation system we only can recommend to upgrade your Windows operating system to a newer version which will not be outdated for a longer while.
Nachdem Microsoft nach 13 Jahren im April 2014 den Support für Windows XP vollständig eingestellt hat, war es uns nicht möglich diese Windows Plattform weiter zu unterstützen. Der letzte Win XP kompatible Treiber für unsere Lenkrad/Pedal/Shifter Produkte ist Version 144. Neuere Hardware und Software verlangt nach Software Technologien welche in Windows XP noch nicht gegeben sind.
Falls ihre neue Hardware oder Firmware nach einem neueren Treiber verlangt, können wir nur dazu raten auf eine aktuellere Version von MS Windows zu wechseln, welche noch möglichst lange unterstützt wird.
In theory you can use any RJ12-RJ12 (6p6c straight) and USB (type A -- type B; USB 1/2.0) cable which has the right connectors on both ends. If you use high quality cables of similar length to the originals, there should be no problem. Please keep in mind that Fanatec cannot guarantee perfect functionality if third-party products are involved even if the combination should work.
Important notes regarding (replacement) cables:
- Cables which are significantly longer than the original cables can cause connection issues
- Extension cables are often the source of connection issues. Longer high-quality cables are the better option
- If your product came with a high-quality ferrite core cable, a replacement cable should be of similar quality
Q: Can I purchase replacement "RJ12--RJ12" / "USB A -- USB B" cables from Fanatec?
A: We should be able to offer replacement cables for all recent products. If they are not offered in the webshop, please ask our support team. But alternatively, it is also possible to use similar standard USB/RJ12 high quality cables, which are inexpensive and can be found at most electrical retailers.
Grundsätzlich sollten alle standard RJ12--RJ12 (6p6c - straight) und USB (Type A auf Type B; USB 1/2.0) Kabel passen und einwandfrei funktionieren, welche die richtigen Stecker bieten. Sofern hochqualitative Kabel mit ähnlicher Länge verwendet werden, sollte dies kein Problem darstellen. Bitte beachten Sie, dass Fanatec keine uneingeschränkte Garantie auf Funktionalität geben kann, sofern Teile/Produkte von Drittherstellern verwendet werden bzw. involviert sind.
Wichtige Anmerkungen zu Ersatzkabeln:
- Kabel welche (deutlich) länger als die Originalkabel sind, können zu Verbindungsproblemen führen
- Verlängerungskabel (und Adapterstecker) sind oft die Ursache von mangelhafter Übertragungsqualität der Signale. Längere Kabel wären hier die bessere Option.
- Wenn ihr Produkt mit einem hochwertigen Kabel inkl. Ferrit-Kern geliefert wurde, sollten sie als Ersatz ein ähnlich hochwertiges Kabel verwenden.
Frage: Kann ich ein (RJ12--RJ12 oder USB A -- USB B) Ersatzkabel von Fanatec kaufen?
Antwort: Wir sollten in der Lage sein für aktuelle Produkte Ersatzkabel zu Verfügung zu stellen. Falls diese im Webshop nicht gelistet sind, fragen sie bitte unser Supportteam danach. We are often asked if all Fanatec Xbox One compatible hardware works also on the Xbox One X (or One S). The answer is YES. According to Microsoft the Xbox One X is "just" another Xbox One like the original version or the One S. This is the original MS statement:

You might notice that one pin is shorter on the Quick Release Connector.
This is normal and does not affect the connectivity of the steering wheel.
The purpose of the shorter pin is to connect last or after all other pins are already connected. This is called a lagging electrical circuit. It means the steering wheel will be supplied with electricity before the circuit is closed.

We have received a couple reports that driver v261 cannot be installed on some Win7 PCs. The root cause is that Windows 7 Updates sometimes are not working as expected. Windows 7 is not aware of recent verification signatures. Therefore we needed to export a special driver for Windows 7 which includes our old driver signature as well. Please try this driver if you are experiencing issues like that:

Wir haben von einigen Kunden Informationen erhalten, dass der Treiber v261 auf ihrem Windows 7 System nicht installiert werden kann. Das Betriebssystem verlangt den Security Patch KB3033929, auch wenn dieser bereits installiert ist. Die zugrundeliegende Ursache ist, dass das Windows 7 Update nicht länger funktioniert wie erwartet. Dementsprechend kennt Windows 7 keine Software-Signaturen die nach Mitte 2016 von Microsoft zertifiziert wurden. Um das Problem zu lösen haben wir einen BugFix Treiber erstellt, welche sowohl die alte als auch die neue Signatur enthält. Bitte installieren sie diesen Treiber um das Problem zu lösen!

If the shifting paddle tends to stick while shifting, the most likely the reason is a loosened grub screw.
In order to resolve the issue, please use a 1.5mm Allen key to tighten the screw so it no longer touches the frame of the shifter paddle module. To ensure that the issue does not reoccur, you can apply a screw lock solution to the thread of the grub screw.
