To set the ClubSport Wheel (Base) into PS3 Mode please go through the following steps:
1. Connect the CSW by USB to the Playstation 3 (we do recommend that no other controller is connected).
2. Power the wheel and the PS3 on.
3. Press and hold the select button on your wheel rim. Then additionally press the start button for about one second. Please do that in the PS3 menu before you start a game. A red dot in the display will indicate the PS3 mode is engaged. No you can launch the game directly with your wheel.
We strongly recommend to set "SEN" in the tuning menu to "OFF" when starting a PS3 game. You could change the wheel angle/sensitivity later if you are not pleased by the game preset which is set by the PS3. Please check the video Manual how to do that:

Update
Since firmware V037 we enabled a second buton combination to engage the PS3 mode. This was done because the PS3 sometimes did not accept the "start button" any more if the previously used button combination was pressed. Press the following buttons to start in PS3 mode with your CSW using firmware V037+

Um das CSW in the Playstation 3 Modus zu setzen, befolgen sie bitte folgende Schritte:

2. Schalten Sie das Lenkrad und die Spielekonsole ein.
3. Drücken und halten Sie die "Select Taste" auf ihrem CSW Rim. Nun drücken Sie zusätzlich die "Start Taste" und halten sie die Kombination für ca. eine Sekunde gedrückt. Ein roter Punkt im Display zeigt, dass der PS3 Modus nun gestartet ist. Nun können sie ein Spiel direkt mit dem Lenkrad starten.
Wir empfehlen den "SEN" Wert in ihrem Lenkrad auf "OFF" zu setzen wenn Sie PS3 Spiele Spielen. Dies können Sie später nach belieben ändern, falls die Einstellung nicht perfekt passen sollte. Im Video Handbuch wird der PS3 Modus sowie die Einstellungen im Tuning Menu nochmals erklärt:

Update:
Nach dem Update auf Firmware 037 steht ihnen eine zweite Tastenkombination zu Verfügung. Diese verhindert ein Problem bei dem die "Start Taste" nach Umschalten in den PS3 Modus nicht mehr ordnungsgemäß von der Konsole akzeptiert wurde. Nutzen sie folgende Tastenkombination um den PS3 Modus zu starten wenn auf ihrem Lenkrad Firmware 037+ installiert ist:
